| two Scotsmen, from Banffshire,
the late J. R. Mitchell and, re-
tired: contractor John. Currie.
The latter worked:-for Mr, Mit-
ehell in the Old Country. They
-|started out as” partners in a
brand-new: building and con-
tracting company, * working: out
of the basement.of the old Mit-
chell home on. ‘Ninth Avenue
East. -

The. firm. moved to its present
location on Third - Avenue. East:

ing. cabinets, dressers, bureaus,
