Odland, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, left Prince Rupert by train Saturday to attend a meeting of the Planning committee for the Canadian district of the Ameri- ean Lutheran Church in Regina, Saskatchewan. Mr. Odland is * the. vice- chairman of the group and rep- resents the Evangelical Lutheran church in the merger-of. three Lutheran synods. The merging converition for the Canada district will be held in Regina on July 7 of this year. The New Church is to. begin Jactivities on January 1, 1961.
