Orton will take up his- appointment as Commanding Officer of HMCS James Bay and Mrs. Orton and children will take up residence in her former home in Victoria. s Baptist Vacation school holds closing exercises yee , A most successful two-week Daily Vacation Bible school at First Baptist church hall concluded Friday morning when mothers attended the closing exer- cises. _it was announced that at the morning sessions an average of 40 children attended the pri- mary and beginners’ depart- ments. "At the closing exercises, the mothers were shown a display of work, heard songs and Bible memory verses and were served coffee. Schoo! superintendent was Mrs. T. R. Lloyd and teachers were Mrs. Henry Vanderheide, Mrs. R. B, MacDonald, with helpers Heather and Judy Moore, Hilda Lippett, Pamela Painter, Mary White, Candice Emerson and Edith and Aileen Ganton.
