We have the right to be concerned about one another, Life would be a dreary thing if no one cared where we were going, or where we had been. One of the dangers of our modern age is to become so self-centred that nothing beyond “Me and My- self” is of any interest. It is good when friends are concerned about one another. Certainly we should be. inter- ested’ in knowing where our friends are going, whether it be for a week-end trip, or one that will take them away for several months. Interested in knowing? Yes, I am sure you are. But how inter- ested are we when it comes to knowing the answer to the ques- tion, “Where. are you going—to spend eternity?” God tells us very plainly in His word, the Bible, that there are only two places to spend eternity. We are all willing to talk about. a nice summer resort where one can spend a few days while on vacation, and have a good time. What about the ‘Glory Land’ that lies at the end-of life’s journey. Do we find heaven easy to talk about? Do we look forward to going there?
