Peace River and Columbia River
systems cannot be completed be-
fore 1976 to 1980 at the earliest,
which takes the province. past
the year 1975 by which time the
additional power will be impcra-
tive for the provincial cconomy.
Both of these dams must be de-
veloped, he said, if these needs
are to be met.

Development of the High Ar-
row dam will, he said, bring
prime power and will also obvi-
ate the dictatorship of the United
States interests on the lower Co-
lumbia. It would be ready five
years ahead of Mica Creek, which
if developed first, would put Brit-

American regulations of flow.
