The other players, Owen Erwin, as assistant commissioner of po- lice; Angus McCracken, as Sam Jackson; and Fred Owen, as Peter Winter; were not quite as impressive in their roles, evidently due to nervousness. During the first act some of the players did not project their lines clearly. Presumably dir- ector Owen Irwin went to work on this as projection was much better in the other two acts. . Most of the cast forgot lines periodically and ‘it is to their: credit that they were able to maintain the mood created in spite of this failing. . All in all, spectators will find this play a lot of fun.
