Elgar Roberts, staff evangelist and church organizer for the Baptist Union of Western Canada. Mr. Roberts is currently conducting a series of meetings at the local church, all this aveek, and at the two services next Sunday. The mectings beg at 8 p.m nightly, but Mr. Roberts plays the organ for 15 min- utes before the meeting. He is known as the “Musician Preacher” as he has been active in a religious period on the radio and has played organs in most of the large churches of Canadia. Mr. Roberts makes his home in Edmonton, but travels a great! deal. He was born in Wales, and came to Canada as a young man.
