Here is the recipe for today: HALIBUT FILLETS WITH CHINESE SAUCE 2 pounds fish fillets Y¥ cup milk 1 teaspoon salt 3, cup fine dry bread crumbs Wipe fish with damp cloth. Cut fillets into individual por- tions and soak three minutes in milk to which salt has been ad- ded. Drain, and roll in dry bread crumbs. Place fish on a greased baking dish and dot with butter. Bake in a very hot oven 450 to 500 degrees. Allow 10 minutes per inch thickness for frozen fish. Serve with Chi- nese Sauce (see -recipe below). Chinese Sauce tablespoons flour cup sugar teaspoon ginger cup water 14 cup soya sauce cup vinegar small green onions Mix the flour, sugar and gin-~- ‘ger together and add to the wa- ter, soya sauce ard vinegar in top of a double boiler.
