In any event the whole matter should be probed further, either by the city itself, the Chamber of Com- merce or the government harbor mas- ter. Certainly we are entitled to some consideration when we realize that Vancouver is said to have more than 50 pilots operating out of that city. Just one of these mariners on a permanent basis would probably suf- fice this port, and not having to fly one in each time a ship wants to enter, would more than likely prove less ex-. pensive to all concerned, particularly : the ships.
