A despatch has been received to the effect that this route has been entered on the new ©, P. R. maps just issued at Ottawa rhe new line of the C, P. R. will means the tapping of a large ter- ritory south and west of Saska- loon, both in Saskatchewan and Alberta, and will increase the dis- tributing territory of this city to a large extent. In addition to this it will mean that Saskatoon will become the grain centre for a large territory of land which heretofore has been depending upon other cities on the main line of the C, P.
