“Settlement of the coal mining
strike at Nanaimo and Lady-
smith, where strikes have startled
the whole of the northwest dur-

sight. Negotiations which have

declared that the whole militia of
the provinee will be called out if
necessary to ‘restore order in the
strike zone. No more lawlessness

will be tolerated from the strik-
ers or their sympathizers, he
says. There will be no leniency
