NEW WIRELESS STATION FOR ISLAND WEST COAST Directional Station to be One of Chain Extending Along the Whole Pacific Coast; Navigation Aid. VICTORIA, 9.—A_ direc- tional wireless station is to be installed on the West Coast of Vancouver Island by the Domin- jon Government in the near fu- ture. A chain of these stations is planned for the Pacific coast by the United States and Canada. This new station in British Co- lumbia will work in conjunecton with one or two of the nearest United States stations. The directional wireless system while yet in the experimental stage has proved a great aid to navigation along the Atlantic coast.
