Pattinson, of the firm of Pat- tinson & Ling, returned yestenday from Port Simpson where he saw the street lighting system sup- plied by the Delco Light plant, which he has just installed, in operation. The new plant has cost the natives of the village dver $6,000 and there are 44 lights burning. Later the Indians in- tend to extend the system so as to provide for house lighting well as street illumination. | The turning on of the street ‘lights on Monday night last was attended with considerable cele- bration and a grand concert was held. The Indian band assembled at 6 p.m. on the bandstand in the street and a selection was played by the old lights.
