a sensation at the opening of the
Legislature ‘yesterday afternoon
when under a

legislation, asked for the continu-
ation of the life of parliament
until June ist,

Bowser urged that there is legal
doubt as to the exact date when
the term of the legislature ex-
pires and asked the leader of the
opposition to agree to vote rea-
sonable supply.

H. C. Brewster says that the

end now and asks for an imme-
diate appeal to the people. The
situation will come to a head to-
day.
