It is the old story of a fool son and a fond father, with the former bringing the lat- ter to ‘poverty by his spending proclivities. The youngster, when face to face with South ruin, goes to Africa and is given up as dead. The father is reduced to abject poverty, but is cared for by the girl who helped to ruin the youth, and ultimately the boy re- turns a wealthy man and of course all ends happily. It is a real good play. The Pathe good trench pietures and Gazette has some general European’ views, Fits, a most laughable comedy, completes a fine show.
