To the electors of British Colum-

As the keynote to the campaign
in the coming general election, I
want to state that my every effort
will be devoted to constructive
work in support of measures hav-
ing for their object the advance-
ment of the interests of the peo-
ple of British Columbia.

To enable this object to be ef-
fectively carried out, it was neces-
sary in the first place to ascertain
so far as possible the exact con-
dition of provincial affairs. This
entailed a large amount of diffi-
cult and unpleasant work at the
last session, but as a result we
are in possession of many facts
