'No Harbor Charges At This Port. One of the great advantage of the port of Prince Rupert is the fact that there are at present no harbor duss here. At Vancouver they are very heavy and at practically every port in the world there are harbor dues which have to be paid by shipv entering. Here there are absolutely no .local changes except lboe. imposed by Ihe customs at all ports in Canada and which are purely nominal. Il will be a great thing for Prince Hupert ifwe can keep the porl clear of tonnage charge. It "will be an inducement for shipping to come here if they have nothing lo pay for'lhe ue of the harbor privileges. Useful Service Of Hon. J. H. Turner. Hon. J. II.
