SATKO GIRL IS MARRIED Incident of Marine Migration North Recalled A wedding, not without some local interest, took place in Juneau a few days ago when Miss Grace E. Satko became the bride of Kenneth R. Allen whose home is in the Alaskan city. It will be remembered that the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Satko, and young family several years ago voyaged all the way Irom Seattle to Juneau on a home made sort of Noah's Ark, despite ominous warnings that they would all go to the bottom. The- called at Prince Rupert for a couple of days. Later, the family homesteaded near Juneau. Satko senior, and his wife are back in Richmond, Virginia, the city they originally resided in. Landings at Prince Rupert from Area Two this year were 8,032,000 pounds, while 5,071,000 pounds have ibeen landed sines the close of the Area Two season oh June 11. The poles being driven down! the river for assembly at Nash are in addition to those hauled out for the company to such railway stations as Terrace, New Hazelton, Beament and Morlce-town. Of the poles Hanson is now producing some 30 per cent arc exported, the remainder going to the Canadian market.
