The job was completed in a little more than four hours by i more than a score or Junior Chamber members who wielded axes in the bush near the Army 1 Signals camp at Westview, pil-! ing the cut trees into trucks for I ransportation downtown. The trees were later wired to the lamp standards. j The decorative project was one which has been done annually just before Christmas byj the Junior Chamber. This year; it was under the direction of; Carson Wallace, civic affairs committee chairman. j The trees were brought down-1 town by trucks of Greer and ' Bridden and A. E. Smith Co.. driven by James Greer and Gus Leigh ton. They were placed at the lamp standards through the courtesy of Northern B.C.
