The unveiling ceremony fol lowed the annual Remembrance Day rites at the Cenotaph and was attended by an audience which filled the lobby while the body of Canadian Legion and Women's Auxiliary members stood in parade formation out fide. Unveiled by Rev. Charles Lo- mas. the plaque bore the names of Harry Keays, Allan Davies, Harry Monkley and Harold Ponder, who lost their lives in service with the Royal Canadian Navy between 1939 and 1945 The plaque was presented bv other former R. C. N. V. R. mem- frcm wartime naval service. The Cenotaph guard of honor stood in line abreast before the veiled plaque as the cere mony started. Immediately br- ine simple rite was begun with a prayer by Rev. Mr. Lo- mas who stood before the white ensign which shrouded the pla- 1ven their lives for their country. The ceremony concluded with the Lord's Prayer, after which the guard of honor and naval reservists rejoined the parade outside. SEEKS BUS SERVICE TO PORT EDWARD i An application to the provincial Public Utilities Commission ' from Cherrill Mclntyre, local taxi company operator, to op- "rrate a" Iras service" between i Prince Rupert, Miller' Bay and Port Edward will be heard by the commission on December 2 at Vancouver, a letter from the commission advised city council Monday night. Council moved to inform the commission that the city's only interest in the matter would be the provision of the "best service at the most equitable rate."
