Given in marriage by Carl Strand, the bride looked charming in a suit of gray gabardine with blue accessories and a corsage of red roses. She was attended by Miss Eleanor Barber who wore a brown suit with matching accessories and a corsage of yellow carnations. Groomsman was Jack Eastwood. Peter Peterson and Wil li liam Long were ushers. Wed-B ! ding music was played by Andy I McNaughton. B . Following the ceremony, a re-Hjception was held at the home n I of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Strand, B ! The bride ana groom received congratulations of their friends before the fire place, banked with foliage and autumn flowers. Toast to the bride was proposed by W. D. Vance and was responded to by the bridegroom. Toast to the bridesmaid was proposed by Jack Eastwood. Several telegrams containing good wishes of friends outside the city were read by the groomsman, following which the bride and groom cut the three-tiered wedding cake which centred the bride's table, decorated with pink tapers and pink carnations. Mrs. Richard Long and Mrs. G. Acton presided at the urns while serviteurs were Mrs. Pat Phillipson, Mrs. Diana Blair, Mrs. Howard Brown, Mrs. O. Johansen and Mrs. Peter Peterson!
