Wilfrid

McLean,
sons
of
the
founder.
At
present,
rocs
work
for
a
second
marine
railway,
larger
than
the
present
one,

When
the
new
one
is
com
pleted,
it
will
be
of
40

feet
dimensions
and
have
a
capacity
of
a
125
-foot
boat.

repairs
and

taken

Two
former
American
army
landing
barges,
of
handy
size,
are
being
equipped
with
superstructure
for
their
owners
by
McLeans.
Both
these
barges
were
shipped
in
recently
from
the
south.
One,
nearing
completion,
is
for
the
Northern
B.C.
Power
Co.
for
use
on
the
Ecstall
River
where
its
shallow
draft
will
be
valuable,
and
the
second,

which
work
has
not
yet
begun,
is
for
Little.Hauglandand
Kerr
Lumber
Company
at
Ter
race

use
on
Kitsumkalum
Lake.
Both
barges
are
powered
with

h.p.

dozen
boats
are
on
the
pontoons
and
more

the
