Duncan hit safely, Slmondson got to first on an error, Moxley hit safely, Dell got on on an error, Carl Smith hit a home run and, with none out, Gordon and Anderson were six runs up. Parlett relieved Dumas but two hits and another error added one more run to Gordon and Anderson's total. Dumas got one back when he was walked, Turner hit a two-bagger and Oroff and Meads were walked, Dell added another fun for Gordon and An-deson when he and C. Smith hit safely. Navy went down on two strikes and an outfield fly. Parlett then held Gordon and Anderson scoreless for the next five Innings whereas the Navy added two in the third, one in the fourth, one in the fifth and two In the. .seventh; and the score was tied.
