chase
for
the
affection
of

girl
and

mirth-provoking
lively
program
ensues.

nomenclature.
The
thing

done
purposely

democratically,
by
ballot.
The
ballot
saved
it
from
the
questionable
distinction-of
being
called
"Sockeye
Lodge"
or
"Bate's
Reform
School,"
the
latter
after
Aubrey
Bate,
their
counsellor.
The
three
names
voted
on
were
chosen
by
Clarence
Salter,
cannery
manager,
from
15
submitted
by
the
boys
who
occupy
the
bunkhouse.
While
the
other
14
prospective
names
probably
soon,
will
be
lost
to
poiiterity,
"Rupert
Rendezvous"
has
at
least
taken
one
step
toward
Immortality,
end
the
names
of
the
boys
who
occupy
it
have
claims
to
no
less
importance.
