Display
Is
Lovely
Feast
of
Beauty-Utility
Achievement
against
odds
is
well
demonstrated
by
exhibitors
in
the
flower
show
and
agricultural
display
which
opened
in
the
Civic
Centre
last
night
and
which
will
continue
tonight
as
part
of
the
Civic
Centre
Carnival.
Resembling
an
earthly
Eden
complete
with
fig
tree,
nesiea
in
a
syivan
giaae,
the
flowers
and
vegetables
-were
artistically
arranged
against
a
background
of
evergreen
erected
in
the
cool
and
airy
gymnasium.
Members
of
the
Horticultural
Society
were
pleased
with
th
growing
number
of
exhibits
and
exhibitors
while
the
judges,

Balagno
and
Arthur
Bayne.
commented
on
the
improved
quality
and
extended
variety
of
the
entries.
Several
outstanding
exhibits
