High School handed C.N.R.A. their second defeat of the season bv 9 to 7, and Co-od won -over a much-improved Navy team by a score of 13 to 5 but these teams wre much more (jvenly matched than the score would Indicate. High School and the C.N.R.A. each scored in their first inking and both went scoreless in the second. The students added one in" the third but the railway men scored three in their half when Schroeder hit a two-bagger and he, Duncan and Dun bar all came, in on Dunbar's hit hat Kennedy let slip between Ls legs. But the first of the fourth was the undoing of the C.N-R1A. and Schroeder was aken out of the box. Hartwig walked, Sharpe and Kennedy hit safely, Symes and Owens got on bases on errors, Wesch hit safe 1 Sizes 11 Through 50 SALE NOW ON IbbbbbIbbbbbW ailSBBit bbbbbII bbW11 ly, Lavigne got on an error. Hartwig hit a two-bagger and, when the dust had all cleared away, High School 'had accum-mulated seven runs. There was some very smart base running included in the inning. C.N.R.A. fought right back and a hit by Nixon, a walk to Schwab, an error that let Roberts on base and Schoeder's second two-base hit brought in three runs. The last three Innings were scoreless for both teams though Hartwig got a two-bagger, his second of the evening, and Dunbar got a three-bagger. Among new players on the Navy team all of whom showed to advantage and who gave every sign that they would become a serious challenge to the league leaders were Lang, who pitched a good game, but had poor sup port at times; Turner, who show ed himself a fighting catcher, and Orabb, who was a standout both at first base and at the bat. He hit a two-bagger and a three-bagger. Hallan at shortstop was very safe and has a great throw to first. In the fourth inning they did some smart base stealing. Co-op, however, did the hitting and played bang-up ball all through. Everyone on the team hit safely and all except Postulo scored runs. Postulo was very safe in the i outfield.
