The an-nual thanksgiving service, was held jn the Union Church on Sun- lay last. The church which was packed to capacity, was beautifully decorated for the occasion, the delicate tints and flaunting hues of the flowers, blending admirably with the amber-colored grains and grasses of the field. The north ami south walls were covered wilh grains, grasses and shrubbery, most tastefully arranged, while from the plat form and pulpit was emitted the sweet fragrance of hundreds of blooms.
