Needlework and School Exhibits Cleverly Executed The exhibits in the Indian section at the Exhibition this year are remarkably good and comprise a wide range of very excellent and useful articles. The workmanship on the primitive ininlements of Indian life such as model canoes and hows and arrows, etc.. shows that the art of wood carving is still strong. The work of the school children is I'xcellent both in map drawing; writing, sewing and knitted work, and sneaks for itself as to the capabilities of their .teachers. Some f the finest specimens of nalchwork quills are on show in this exhibit, made by Sam Gray, of Greenville, which have won first and second prizes respec tively in this class. The smoked fish, comprising smoked salmon and dried halibut is of very good quality. Needlework The needlework and fancy work exhibited by the native women and girls is beautiful and comprises crochet work, palch-u'lick.
