It would be foolish for any person to saywe cannot do anything. So many unexpected things have been done in the past that the future holds store of all kinds of possibilities. One of these is communication with the other members of the solar system. Mars is one or the nearby planets although not the nearest. Just now it is nearer than usual, hence the interest taken in it.. There is a possibility that .Mars may be inhabited but not necessarily with creatures like ourselves. Much would depend upon the conditions under which they come into existence. They may be creatures that could live without water or .they may even be creatures without any bodies. II is doubtful if we shall ever pierce the forty million miles of space which intervenes and find out what is there. Yet the thing may not be impossible, Who can tell what the future, holds in store for the people of this planet? All World Still Loves A Prince. In spite of the protestations of the, reds, it is clear that the world still loves a prince. In United States, the home of developing democracy, the Prince of Wales is one of the riiost popular of young men. The people there admire him and would like to meet him. There is a glamour still about a prince that appeals to them. So in Canada. The Canadian people lose no opportunity to do honor to the heir to the British throne. When he was on the coast he was the recipient of almost adoration and his visit is remembered by many as a bright spot in their lives. We are a democracy but wo have au inner longing for worship which expends itself in divine services, in admiration of statesmen and princes and leaders of thought, and in that respect for law and order which is typical of us as a race. It is the sam'e spirit which made us do honor to the visiting airmen last week, the spirit of hero-worship and of extreme admiration for anyone with outstanding attainments or position.
