The annual meeting of the Terrace and District Fall Fair Association, which was postponed from ' October 22. was held on Thursday evening, November 4, In the O.W.V.A. Hall. A more representative gathering was present than on the former evening, and business was proceeded with. The financial statement was again read showing a slight deficit In the year's records. Considerable discussion arose over the lack of a competent stpck Judge, 'the work of .which was voluntarily undrr-taken by the poultry and rabbit Judge. It was suggested that the government be asked to send a stock Judge next year who was as well a veterlnery surgeon who would be under Instructions to make tests for tuberculosis, etc.. at the same time. It was pointed out that It has been some years since the government has done anything along this line In this district, and It was generally felt that It was; a matter of neglect on the part of the administration. The matter was left to be settled at a future meeting. The election of an executive for the ensuing 'year then took place resulting as follows: C. H. Thomas, H. Swain, J, Bwann and J. B. Agar and Mesdames Gilbert, Sundal and Dover. The prize money was paid out after the meeting. The executive met immediately after the general meeting and appointed officers as follows: President C. H. Thomas. Vice-president H. Swain. Secretary-Treasurer Mrs. O. T. Sundal. . It was decided that a revision of the Fancy Work section and the school work should be undertaken at once to give those intending to exhibit In these sections plenty of time la which to prepare their work.
