Majcr Scott, who Is Jn Canada to Investigate and advise as to the location of a mooring mast for dirigibles in 'the Dominion, has stated that the R-34 was flown from England to the United States as part of the plan to overcome the prejudices created during the war. Major Scott contends that no comparisons can be drawn from the performances of war dirigibles, designed as they were for long distance raiding and to ascend to great heights. These ships, he declares, were built along light, weak lines whereas the great air liners to be used in the inter-imperial service In the fall of 1928 will be staunch craft, designed to meet all weather conditions.
