One of the Interesting experiences he recounted was In Tibet when he was captured and bound by natives, being held captive or three weeks until he escaped by clubbing his guard. Again In Northern liurma he was pursued for six wneks Wirough wild country having no previsions other than what he could hunt being unable to cook that for he feared lighting a fire. Finally he reached Northern India in an emaciated condition ueid met friendly British soldiers who attended to his wants and saw him In good shape to continue his travels. Finally reaching Bohemia, he was once again captured, this time by a lady who made the rest of the Journey with him as his wife. He completed his journey at New York. Capt. Booth School winning 2-0 over High. At the opening, High played down hill and forced a fruitless corner. Booth i was soon at the other end where Kane caught and cleared a fine shot from F.ussanich. Shortly after he cleared fn.ni Dickens. Booth was shooting well and soon Kane cleared from Nelson. Smith got away for High and Scott ran out and cleared. Booth attacked again and Bussantch tested Kane with a fine ebct that was well saved. Offside relieved the pressure on High goal and Kane saved front Wlngham. Booth's attacks were always dangerous and, at last, after Kane had fisted away an awkward shot from Nelson, Bussanlcb headed in for a good goal. High took up the attack now tout Smith shot past. They forced a corner which was cleared. Fldler, a new player for High, showed up well and cleared his lines repeatedly. Morrison stopped Smith and then Kelsey cleared. High was pressing but Booth defence was sound. Kami saved his side and then Kelsey headed away when things were dangerous. Half-time came with Booth leading one goal. After a spell of mldfleld play, Kami kicked away but Kelsey stopped Smith. From a free kick Kelsey hit the upright. LAND ACT. NOTICE OF INTENTION Tl APPLY TO 1 LEASE USD. The sailors helped the local footballers to get started and, had It not been for three of their leading players being out of commission, they would have purtlcl pjted In a baseball opener. In the various lines In which they engaged the Jack Tars prove themselves to be good sports and Prince Rupert hopes they will come again and often. Football fans will no doubt turn out en masse this evening for the opening league football game of tlie season between the Grand Terminals and Moose In. the Stuart Shield series, Local soccer talent seems to huve been pretty well divided between the three teams that will participate the Moost toeing the third ond there Is reason to anticipate that close contests will be waged throughout the season. Each team Is equipped with well known and capable players, as well aa some new ukx!, and speculation Is rife as to their respective merits.
