SEASONABLE RECIPES Mark Cherry Pudding One cup milk, l cup cream, 5 table' spoons butter. 3-4 cup sugar, 1 tea spoon grated lemon rind, 1-2 teaspoon grated nutmeg, 1-4 teaspoon powdered cloves, 4 eggs. 1 cup sifted dried bread crumbs, 1 quart black cherries. Heat milk and cream and add butter. Beat yolk of eggs well with .sugar, spices and lemon rind. Slowly add hot milk mixture, stirring 'to dissolve sugsr. Add crumbs end cherries with pits removed, Mix well and told in whites of eggs beaten until styf and dry. Turn Into a buttered baking dish. Place on eeverul thicknesses of paper In a pan of hot water letting water come half way up cn the dish. Bake In a moderate oven until firm to the touch, about forty minutes.
