The social held In Progress Hall on Wednesday evening under the auspices of the 'Anllcm Church was one of the outstanding social affairs of the winter. A general Invitation had been Issued to the public and a large crowd was In attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson had spent much time In decorating and arranging the hall and an Inviting and homelike ecene was the result. A splendid program of vocal and Instrumental music, recitations, etc., was given, the following taking part: Miss Hallowell, Mrs. O. T. Sundal, Rev. and Mrs. A. W. Robinson, Rev. Wm. Allan, Mr. and Mrs. S. N. Klrkaldy and J. De Kergammaux. - Mr. O. Von Hees acted as accompanist lor the evening. The selections were Interspersed with games and coclal Intercourses. Rev. A. W. Robinson was chairman of the meeting. Refreshments were served and the evening came to a close with the singing of the doxology.
