In the realm of public ser. vice, the- Qyros, during the year. pre. tented the city with two new children's playgrounds one In Westview and the other at Seal Cove. While the club was doing such useful work for the advancement of the city, there were also many enjoyable social affairs and other functions all of which were duly reported upon. The club now has a membership of thirty-three. The meeting elected a practically new slate of officers headed by Presidentelect Eddie Mann who has always taken an energetic interest, in Gyro afTalrs, having, indeed, been one of its organizers four years ago.
