Hickman Confesses to Murder of a Druggist 1 Christmas Eve of 1926 LOS ANGELES, December 29. William Edward Hickman, confessed kidnapper and slayer of Marian Parker, late last night confessed to jail officials that he had taken part in the murder of Ivy Thomas, a druggist, in Pasadena, Christmas Eve, 192G. The officers quoted Hickman as stating that he shot and killed Thomas at Rose Hill, a suburb near here, implicating Weldy Hunt, an Alhambra youth, in the confession. Hunt, the officer said, he believed was employed in the same bank as Perry Parker, father of Marian Parker and in which Hickman was formerly as messenger.
