This is for the pur-pone of collecting broken and discarded toys, books or other articles of interest to children and the scouts will repair them and they will be distributed among those who will not be fortunate enough to receive toys at Christmas. The scoutmasters ask that any people having broken toys or books that could be repaired get them together and they will be collected by the scouts, or they may be sent to Barrie's Home Furnishing store on Third Avenue. If scoutmasters or scouts are notified they will arrange to pick up parcels. The scheme has the approval and patronage of Mayor McMor-iio and other prominent citizens but what is asked is the co-operation of all in giving the boy scouts an opportunity to do this good turn.
