Johnson, manager f the Caaadkm Fish & Cold Storage Co., is to be canratulie4 Bft toying lauded the fisheries convention f or PrJRapert flfexj. year. It is an important event and it ifi expected a large number of prominent men engaged directly or indirectly in the fish trade will be present. These will come from eastern Can ada, western Canada and the United States. Vancouver fishery men are backing Prince Rupert and now it will be for the local people to do their part There is plenty of time to prepare, so there will be no excuse if the reception is not a good one. Mr. Johnson is to be congratulated on his success in connection with this event. He is vice-president of the Canadian Fisheries Association and as such recently presided at the meeting when the decision was arrived at to come here. It is an indication that western men are beginning to make themselves felt in national affairs.
