Some new candidates have entered the campaign, and otners who had been entered have started an active campaign. The campaign, though, is still far from what it should be. There is a real opportunity here for any person who will enter the campaign and get busy with the determination to go through with it and not quit regardless of what discouragement they meet. Anyone can start and be enthusiastic for a few days, but it takes a real person to Keep their enthusiasm up each day. It might be well to mention, here, that there is a strict rule in the campaign against candidates telling exaggerated stories of success. The campaign management has been hearing stories the last few days, which are being circulated with the hope of discouraging other candidates. Candidates are hereby warned to discontinue this practice. The wise candidates now are the ones who are too busy to be interested or "bluffed" by such wild rumors. Most of the stories one hears are so apparently untrue that not one, who puts a little thought to them, will believe them for an instant. manner no. i District No. 1 includes only those purticlpanls residing within Ue cits, liuiilb of Prince ttupert.
