June 19, 1928 FISHERIES SEASON ' This is expected to ba a big fishery season. Both in the Skeena and Naas Rivers there' were good catches four years ago and in the natural order of things they should be heavy both this year and next. There are a number of changes made this year by the canneries. No advances are being made to fishermen to induce them to fish, as had been the custom in the past. The advances started the men in debt and sometimes at the close of the season they ended the same way. This year at the close of the season the men should have more money to spend than formerly. i ajinerymen say is every indication that the run will be a big this war.
