I tion Last Evening There was a large ,and enthusiastic crowd of some three hundred persons at the semi-annual hoedown dance of the Prince Rupert Gyro Club In the Moose Hall last night. The event went off without a hitch from 8 p.m. to 2.30 a.m. and proved very enjoyable. Lionel Holtby was master, of ceremonies and splendid music was furnished by Al. Smail's Orchestra. The program consisted of . waltzes and fox trots with a few HhixMlanders inUripersed. Rfrtshments were hot dogs, coffee and ice cream which Vert sold from stalls. Norris Pringle was chairman of the general committee in charge, other members being Ralph Le-Pine, Jimmy Farquhar, Joe Gosse Morris Blott, Charlie Mills, Doug. Nelson and Norman Freeman. Interesting features of the evening were the drawings for the f0 gold piece and the free round trip to Vancouver which was comiucted by Leo Waugh, Ralph LePine and Norri Pringle.
