K. Tremayne, phy sician and surgeon of this city since 190S who is moving to William Head quarantine station near victoria this evening. Presentations were made to both Dr. and Mrs. Tremayne and there were a number of speeches in wmcn sincere regret that they were leaving Prince Rupert and hearty best wishes for the future were combined. The banquet started at 7 p.m. and conclud ed about 10. O. W. Nlckersoh acted as toastmaeter and others responsible for the arrangement of the function included J. H. Plllsbury. C. K. Orme. E. C. Olbbons. J. W. Scott, C. V. Evitt and J, C. McLennan. Dr. W. T. Kergln made the principal speech of the evening and presented Dr. Tremayne with a handsome alligator club bag for himself and a silver tea tray for Mrs. Trma;ne. Dr. Kergln gave some interesting reminiscence of early days here and told how In 1908 be had come north on the same vessel the old steamer Tees with Dr. Tremayne.
