Porf Simpson Carried Off the Honors in Basketball Senior Game: Others Well Contested Por Simpson defeated Players Club 27-23 in an exciting Senior League Pasketball game last night. The game pleaseda large crowd of basketball fans at Exhibition building. The game started fast and developed into a faster game as it proceeded, providing the spectators with plenty of excitement. As the game continued, first one team would take the lead and then the other. At half time, the j score stood 15-14 in favor of the Port Simpson team. After thV ten minue rest at half time, the Players Club started the second half, in whirlwind fashion and took the lead away from Simpson. Both teams concentrated on fast com-" bination plays for a few moments and team work had an easy time during which time both had con-! defeating Dig Four 40-15. The rol of the ball but lost it. because of uncompleted passes. The game became very undecided as time drew short. With only a few minute to play, Port Simpson scared three field baskets, in as many minutes and obtained the lead which they held until the game ended.
