N. grounds on Saturday afternoon. ' The first game between the Biological Board and a pickup team of the C.N. , the experimental team winning by one run, the score being 17 to 16. It was a good game with the Biological Board getting away to a flying start, getting 12 runs (0 the opposing team's five in the first three innings, but the railroad boys lighting up after that. Biological Board C.N. Black Taylor Broeklesby Holroyd Smith Harold Freeman Morrison Bedford Mcintosh Kask Somers Denstedt Foreman Steplln Smith Allen Rose The second game proved very Interesting when the halibut packers took on the bug chasers from the Biological Board. Whether the Biological boys eouldn'ttand the smell of fish or not it is hard to say, but they couldn't play ball against the fish house. This being' the first time there has been a team from fish plauts, they made a very good showing by downing their opponents 8 to 6. Pierce for the fish house made some very nice pickups at short but seemed to think as long as he hit the yard office the runner was out. Meniie piayed a nice game on first, as did Dougherty pitching. For the Biological Board, Black catching and Smith pitching makes a first-class battery. Fish Houses Starr, Meniie, KIrkendall, Dougherty, Pierce, Solem, Ferguson, Gllker, Hanson.
