The Letter Box PROPOSES DRASTIC MOVE Editor, Daily News: ' ' The people of Prince , .Rupert are getting impatient nnd hope you will continue to ask for the building of the road. To make only two flights in the season and do little or nothing else does not satisfy ua. We witnt to see some construction going on. I have a suggestion to make that I should like you and other Prince Rupert people to consider. Suppose we all. refuse to pay car tax and gasoline tax until an effort is made to give us a place to drive. If we all bandj together and stick to it we can; get what we want, then if the worst comes to the worst, and we get no action, we can break away altogether from the south' and form our own government nd build our own roads. I think too we should all petition to have a refund made of the car and gasoline tax. Vic-; toria cannot expect us to pay, taxes if we get nothing from' them. ' Think this over. If feasible I should like to see action taken on it at once. We mutt let those people at Victoria see that we I are in earnest and will not stand j for being deprived of our just rights.
