FURIOUS FINANCE THEME OF PICTURE "The Wolf of Wall Street" Is George Bancroft's Latest Effort for Paramount All of the feverish excitement and hysteria that accompanies a "bull drive" on the Wall Street stock market has.been captured in George Bancroft's new sturring picture for Paramount, "The Wolf of Wall Street," coming to the Capitol tonight and tomorrow. To accomplish this, Paramount went to unusual lengths in cast assembly and set construction. The : interior of the New York stock exchange was duplicated in detail lor one or the major sequences of the story and Hollywood and Los Angeles were scoured for men who were familiar with brokerage methods on "the floor." These men', many of .them recruited from down-town offices in the financial district, were eager to see the in terior of a motion picture studio and to play before the camera, and their enthusiasm, coupled with the directorial ability of Rowland V. Lee, brought out convincing performances from each of them. 1 i'he scene on the floor of the stock market &re declared to be highly dramatic and authentic portrayals of what actualy happens daily in thia "financial heart of the world." Dr. W. T. and Dr. W. S. Ker-1 Baclanova, Nancy Caroll, Pad! gin of Prince Rupert were vis- Lukas, among others, are included itora here at the end of the week.
