CELEBRATED DANCER ARRIVES IN THE CITY Miss Peggy Standiee of Seattle is Visiting Her Grand Father in Prince Rupert. Pretty Peggy Standlee of Se- attle arrived in the city last week. She is one of Professor Douglas best ballet dancers, the daughter of Mrs. H. L. Purdy and has gain- ed much wonderful comment for her artistic dancing. Peggy was juvenile queen at the Add Club carnival held in tte Seattle Arena in 1914 and in this same year christened the huge ldrydock “Big Bill.” She also ap- peared at an entertainment given by the Naval Sponsors of the U. 8S. Navy for the benefit of the Or- phans’ enlisted men of the United States navy. Miss Standlee has danced at several Red Cross and star smoke fund benefits given in the Doug- las Dancing Academy. She is a grand daughter of H, R. Jayne, jehief marine engineer of the Prince Rupert drydock company. {She will appear at several benefit jentertainments to be given in the oo future in Prince Rupert.
