Howe. -Shoeraker, in The Chicago Daily Nva. d more than twent Altogether the proving will ! -The Cessana monoplane, piloted by Parkei Cramer, trans-Atlantic flyer, on its way back to Chicago after a flight to Nome, is believed lost today in the wilderness of Yukon Territory east of Big Salmon, 125 miles north of White Horse, according to the Government Telegraphs. At 11 a.m. the plane passed over Big Salmon headed east, whereas it should have been taking a more southerly direction. The belief is that Cramer may have mistaken Big Salmon for Yukon Crossing and thus lost his bearings. At 1 p.m. ' there had been no report at White Horse of the plane since it passed Big Salmon at 11 a.m. The machine . was to have landed at White Horse for fuel. If a mistake has really been made, as is how believed, the ship might be completely lost in a barren wilderness devoid of communication with the outside and with few human habitations. Should it be necessary to make a forced landing, the plane may not be heard from for days, and, possibly, weeks. The only chance is that the aviators find their mistake while they still have enough fuel left to get' back on their course. The plane could not get away from Fairbanks on Saturday owing to the soft muddy field. The takeoff was made this morning and at 10:30 a.m. the ship passed Carmacks. was a prominent J&9re in the f'T"1 ; "iw Cape Breton coal Industry before y"r- e lerwl dear up the days of the mergers and labor Z l P'U1 2,b",OTti7! of W000; it wil m provide for all unions.
