Tenders -are being invited for the construction of an addition to the provincial government wharf in this city and also for the repair of the old wharf. The repairs are made necessary by the act that the old wharf is in very bad condition and much of the underpinning must be renewed. The new part is to be built where the Prince Rupert Boat House now.lies. The extension has a seventy foot frontage and will add a good deal to the. ea- pacity of the wharf, made neces- sary by the growth of business in the city and the desire of the Pro.
