Prince Rupert carried off the honors in both baseball games yesterday afternoon. In the match against Telkwa the score was 7 to 1. The battery for Telkwa was Green and Stone and for Rupert, Astoria and Dravis. Hearns was the umpire. , The game played immediately efter between the smelter town boys and the local nine was much nore interesting. In the first in- nine Rupert was 2 and the game was then air tight until the sixth whew the home boys got 3 more and then added 2 in the eighth. The runs at the final stood 7 to 3 in favor of the home team. The batteries were, for Rupert, Frank rinetti and Dravis, and for An- yox, Cody and McDougall.
